A snippet of thoughts on how to write more interesting porn

slinkymalinki offers some interesting post on how to write better porn on what fanfiction sex could use more of. (Follows on from an earlier entry about what it could use less of.)
Adding to the list a few suggestions of my own --
Humor, both intentional and unintentional, successful and not successful.
Asymetric orgasms. Not to sound like the Office of We Know Everything, as pointed out by catscradle, in my asymmetry obsession, but they're not only not always simultaneous, they're not always equal in number, quality, and intensity, or even existence.
And *breaks*. I get vampire/superhuman stamina, but in a 5 hour bout of inventive kinky sex, there are peaks and valleys, not only for nicotine, food, water, and bathroom but just because. And some of those breaks involve conversation. Or if they don't, it is seriously a plot point.
Incongruity. In other words, having to take off your socks -- or notice, afterwards, that you didn't. The corseted dominatrix having to grab a robe to answer the door. I'm not saying you have to step all over all your characters' big moments and turn them into slapstick, but a light touch of realism can make something earthier and therefore hotter than a Zipless Fuck.
Thoughts. I'm not saying I want solliloquy, but the action of sex itself really varies very little. It's how the characters feel about it that makes it hot. Otherwise it turns into the Beauty Books, where even the spanking fetishists were saying "Christ, enough with the implement catalog already."
